The Plein Air festival is a chance for artists of all abilities to interpret the beauty of Ogden and present their works to the Festival attendees. Artists will be scattered around Ogden the week before the festival begins preparing entries for the Plein Air Competition. The best way to see artists working live is to attend the Arts Festival the morning of Saturday, June 8. There, artists will be working live on the festival grounds and immediate areas in order to submit entries for the Quickdraw competition by 12:30 pm. This is a great event for art collectors, artists, art critics, thrill seekers, the curious and everyone else. We hope to see you there!
Plein Air Silent Auction
The Plein Air Competition will be presented to the public with an Artists Reception in Union Station's Gallery 51. The works entered in the competition will be sold through a silent auction that begins Thursday, June 6th and continues through the Festival.

Quick Draw Competition
The Quick Draw Competition takes place Saturday June 8th during the Ogden Arts Festival. Artists will paint in the vicinity of the festival (Union Station, Washington to Wall between 24th and 26th street). By early afternoon (no later than 12:30 pm), all submissions are on exhibit in the Union Station Grand Lobby. The silent auction begins when work is submitted and continues until the Final Call at 4:00 pm.
Both auctions will include a "Buy It Now" price for immediate sales.
All proceeds from the Plein Air and Quick Draw sales help fund future Ogden Art Festivals and the participating artists. This is a great way to view local art, purchase local art, support the arts festival and local artists. This is such a fun competition, come down and be part of the action!
