Ogden Arts Festival is a juried fine arts festival, produced by gallery owners, local artists and art-advocates through the Union Station Foundation, a non-profit organization responsible for maintianing and restoring the historic train depot. Union Station is home to the Utah State Railroad Museum, the Browning Firearms Museum and the Browning Kimball Classic Car Museum as well has 3 art galleries, Union Grill Restaurant and Warren's Model Train Shop. Funds raised through the festival help fund the continued operation of the historic station.

We value work made by the hands of the individual artists. Artists may apply to for booth space on zapplication.org January 25, 2012 through April 8, 2012. Ogden is one of the leading areas for year-round recreation and cultural growth. Set between the Wasatch mountains and the scenic Ogden River in the shadow of the Wasatch Mountains snowy peaks, white-water rivers, and alpine lakes. In the summer you can backpack, mountain bike, rock climb, camp, raft, kayak, fly-fish, golf, or just relax and enjoy the scenery. Full time residents enjoy the outdoor lifestyle, as well as the urban amenities and fine art.

Site
Ogden’s beautiful Union Station and Historic 25th Street site of the most complete, continuous section of turn-of-the-century architecture in Utah are the backdrop for the Ogden Arts Festival. Union Station is home to the Utah State Railroad Museum, John M. Browning Firearms Museum and Wattis/Kimball Classic Car Museum. Historic 25th Street has a wide variety of unique restaurants, boutiques, and galleries. There are more examples of Art Deco architecture in Ogden than any other Utah city. Peery’s Egyptian Theater hosts films from the Sundance and Foursite Film Festivals. Ogden was home to three venues during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Ogden's downtown historic district has been designated a national historic area and the "Crossroads of the West National Historic District."

The U.S. Forest Service maintains over 230 miles of mountain biking, hiking, and equestrian trails in the Ogden/Weber area with over 20 federally maintained campgrounds. Event Background
The Ogden Arts Festival is a natural addition to a community with active art galleries, monthly first Friday Gallery Stroll, Designed and organized by a grass roots group of artists, gallery owners and local art advocates.
